Lots of excitement and lots of challenges. Talk to manufacturers engaged in the fast-moving electric vehicle industry and both descriptions quickly work their way into the conversation. Such was the case Tuesday afternoon at the 2022 IndustryWeek Manufacturing & Technology Show, where a keynote panel discussion on the future of electric vehicles launched Day 1 of the conference and expo in Cleveland.
Panelists from Eaton, Lincoln Electric, Ultium Cells and Cirba Solutions discussed their participation in the EV industry and tackled topics ranging from talent development, safety and sustainability to how quickly the electric vehicle market will develop and how that development will impact automotive suppliers.
